Kingdom of Heaven

ABCF

Pastor Henry Combs and Lady Cassandra Combs

Brief History of KOGKOH

In 1993, at Carver Missionary Baptist Church in Los Angeles, Minister Henry Combs Jr. had permission to go before the congregation and ask for volunteers to go into jails, juvenile halls and prisons.

Now in 1995, the auxiliary ministry transferred its focus to volunteer services and actions to serve the LA County Probation Department Juvenile Hall. At the juvenile halls, the Carver auxiliary ministry worked with the LA County to support families with counseling and re-entry counseling for juveniles and adults.

Various ministries worked alongside Reverand Combs and the volunteers, all who were passionate about the prison ministry. Muslims, Catholics, and different Protestant denominations. These were all preparations for the unity ABCF aims to work in today.

Purpose

To present and represent God as did the Holy Scriptures and the Son of God, Jesus Christ.

In Presentation
To present the person of God as Jesus Christ expressed and manifested God the Father to be. Additionally, we are to present God clearly and strategically to the minds of all nationalities, persons, cultures, enclaves, and nations.

In Representation
To represent God, we are to serve as delegates, to function as spokespeople, and to be examples of godliness. To present oneself godly in all circumstances in the presence of God and all people. We are to possess and to live by the mind of Christ, that we may represent an acceptable example of the effective power of the Holy Spirit of God clearly to all peoples, nationalities, and cultures, seekers, and non-seekers alike.

Vision

UNITY of the various denominations of Christian Churches, the Body of Christ, effectively praising and worshiping the God of all Creation and the LORD Jesus Christ together in fellowship in a nonprejudiced and uncontentious environment.

Q

The Kingdom of Heaven (KOH) is where all believers interact in fellowship, community, teaching and growing in Christ, and business. Whereas the Kingdom of God is all of the creation of Elohim: heavenly host, demons, stars, planets, believers, unbelievers, and our Adversary, Elohim is over all. All things that are and have been are a part of the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of Heaven is where those who have accepted the Word of Truth, and put their faith in Messiah, being reconciled through His blood back to God back to His heavenly kingdom.

The KOH is centered on the one true God, the principles He’s established through His word, and His character, which is “a gracious and compassionate God, who is slow to anger, abounding in mercy, and ready to relent from inflicting punishment” (Jonah. 4:2). This kingdom is governed by God, and through the propitiation of His Son and indwelling of His Holy Spirit, a believer is allowed to operate and correctly function in this kingdom. The operation of this Kingdom all correlates with HIs perfect and pleasing will, which He always has for His saints. Grace and mercy are given from God to all, for all are ignorant and commit errors. And God desires those who are of Him to be as Him; they came into knowledge and are to be in touch with those who are in the same and those who are yet to be. In the Kingdom of Heaven, for one to be great, they must be a servant to all. This is the behavior, the control, and direction that God has over His kingdom; the harmony at which the Kingdom of Heaven is conducted.

The Kingdom of Darkness is the antithesis of this harmony. It is the spiritual kingdom that Satan governs, and those who follow him are of this kingdom, through direct means of allegiance (Satanic worship, conjuring of spirits, etc.), or other methods of unharmony (idol worship, wrong living, etc.). Some in this kingdom, although being a part of it don’t even know they are a part of it. These are those who walk the broad way that leads to destruction, i.e., those who walk in the ways of this world and its corruption. Jesus would equate these people as being spiritually blind. Preventing people from seeing the kingdom of God because of their focus on other things in life.

Unity and diversity in the Body of Christ. God gives us the example of what this is in Genesis 1 and 2 through the Man and Woman becoming one despite being two separate beings. Paul talks further about this in Romans 12 and 1 Corinthians 12:4-7 when speaking about faithful living. Some other ones include Ephesians 2:1-18 and Romans 3:1-2. There are more, but the point derived from these passages is that Christian unity is willingly conjoining yourself to Christ, and through living in the Spirit, one’s contribution isn’t limited to their immediate lives, but it extends outward, accomplishing things one cannot imagine. By this, ABCF has itself as an umbrella fellowship for all believers who decide in their hearts that they love God and His Son Jesus Christ, following the Law of the Spirit in their daily and religious lives.
